      Network Security - Feistel Structure

FEISTEL STRUCTURE -  आज के इस blog में हम जानेगे Feistel structure क्या होता है और ये कैसे काम करता है। इससे पहले की हम blog cipher technique algorithm के बारे मे जाने हमे इसके बारे में जानना जरूरी हैं क्योंकि सबसे ज्यादा blog cipher techniques इसी structure को follow करती हैं।

इस structure के अनुसार आपका जो plain text है उसे हमे दो बराबर part में divide करना हैं, पहला Left Part and second Right Part. Right part में हम Function (जो भी हमारा algorithm होगा) apply करते हैं। हर function के साथ एक key use होती हैं और हर Round में Right Part left में और left part Right में जाके मिलेगा और जो left right के combination से जो नया block बनेगा उस पर फिर से Process करेगे ( कितने Rounds तक ये process करनी हैं ये हमारे algorithm पर depend करेगा, जिसे हम आगे आने वाले blog में समझेगे) कि आप diagram में देख पा रहे हैं -

इस structure में दो keys का use होता हैं पहली Master key and second subkeys (k1, k2,k3). Subkeys कितनी होगी यह आपके Rounds पर depend करता है। हर Round में अलग subkey use होती हैं। 

हम ये भी कह सकते हैं कि Function combination होता है Key & Round का.

Feistel Structure Design Principle -

1. Plain Text को दो equal part में divide करते हैं।

2. security Rounds पर depend करेगी means हर Round के साथ security High होते चली जायेगी।

3. data की swapping की जाती हैं जिससे security high हो जाती हैं।

4. Use two keys पहली master and दूसरी subkey.

Decryption Process में इसके opposite process करनी होती हैं।(means in the decryption same process down to up). Simple way में कहे तो Encryption के diagram को उल्टा कर दो, जितने Round आप  Encryption में use करोगे उतने ही आपको decryption में Use करना है। 

Encryption हमेशा Plain text से Start होता है और cipher text पर खत्म होता हैं और decryption cipher text से start होता है and plain text पर खत्म होता हैं।

Block Cipher Design principle -

1. Block Size उतना ही रहेगा जितना आपके plain text का size हैं।

2. key size depend करेगा आप कैसी key generate करते हो।

3. जितने number of rounds हैं security high होगी हर Round के साथ।

4. Plain Text को दो equal part में divide करते हैं।

5. Apply Function ( जो algorithm हम use कर रहे हैं उसके अनुसार )
