Networking Topology - Star Topology
#Summary - in today's blog we will learn about Star Topology
#Star Topology - In Star Topology, multiple devices are connected to a central connection point known as Hub or Switch.
*All data transferred from one computer to another passes through Hub or Switch.
*Each device need a single point-to-point connection between the device and switch or Hub.
*Star Topology is mostly using topology in networking
#Advantages of Star Topology –
a. Easy to install, Configure and manage
b. Easy to detect faulty device
c. Easier to Expand
d. Connecting or removing devices does not affect the network
#Disadvantages of Star Topology –
a. Cost of Installation is high
b. If the Centralize device is affected then the whole network is stopped
c. Performance is based on the centralize device Hub or switch that is it depends on its capacity.
